Many of the congregations of the Church of God in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania are in remote country areas. The access is on dirt roads and tracks with little or no public transport.

In October when we held meetings at Bro Stephen Omoding's congregation at Mt Elgon. From our accommodation in Webuye to his place was a journey by 4-wheel drive of around one and half hours. The same journey by push bike and walking would take all day.

We had a group of ministers attend who had walked 30 and 40km from Uganda to attend the meetings because they are hungry for the truth of Jesus Christ and the Church of God.

The plan is to supply motorbikes in the first instance to those who have an apostolic mantle and spending much time traveling between congregations as well as establishing new ones.

These motorbikes would also serve as a means of income to these ministers as they can also be used as "taxis". This will also take care of fuel and maintenance.

The cost of a motorbike including safety equipment is $1200US.
