Our Mission

Our mission as the Church of God is to be wholly devoted to Jesus Christ our Saviour in both perfect obedience and perfect love. The family of God seeks only to be and do the Lord's good pleasure by being obedient to His will to the exclusion of our own.

We therefore see our mission to firstly love the Lord with all our being:

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

We do that by covenanting with God to be entirely His.

Secondly our mission is to share God's goodness with all of mankind:

…Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

We fulfil this part by:

1.Proclaiming the love of God, through Jesus Christ, to all people throughout the world. 2.Enabling people throughout the world to experience the redemptive love in its fullest meaning through the blessed experience of salvation provided by the power of the Gospel through the blood of Jesus Christ. 3.Calling all people to holiness which is the New Testament. The Gospel's call is perfection. The Gospel's purpose is perfection. The Gospel's result is perfection 4.We warn all people that true Salvation is a death blow to sinning. 5.Calling all believers to discipleship that we each be equipped to be the servants of Jesus Christ in the world and be conformed to His image. 6.Living as citizens of the Kingdom of God here and now, and work for justice, mercy and peace awaiting and abiding in the Christian hope of Christ's soon return. 7.Building the whole body of Christ in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the stature of the fullness of Christ.

By no means is our mission statement complete. We like Paul are debtors to all the citizens of this world to preach the Gospel for we are not ashamed of what the Gospel has done and is doing and shall do for us.
